Your Responsibilities will include:

• Greet and interact with members and guests in a quick, polite, courteous and efficient manner.
• Responsible for taking and managing tee time bookings, and proper guest information tracking.
• Perform daily sales responsibilities of golfer registration, retail merchandise, power cart, and rental equipment.
• Perform and handle cashier duties with diligence and care; Daily opening and closing of cash counter; accurate cash handling and sales of merchandise and processing credit card purchases; Cash float change requirements.
• Perform daily responsibilities and cleaning of rental clubs and golf carts (maintenance and cleaning).
• Ensure golf cart staging area and cart storage area are clean, and charging mechanisms are properly working.
• Daily set up and maintenance of practice facility; hitting stalls, range ball collection, cleaning, and stocking.
• Ensure golf shop, and outside services areas are clean, safe, and presentable at all times.
• Take immediate action required when safety concerns arise. Report to OH&S representative.
• Operate and comply with all policies, standards, procedures, values, and values of SPRLLP
• Assist with various stages of the tournament and special event preparation, organization, and execution.
• Acquire and maintain a sound knowledge of Sun Peaks Resort’s facilities regarding Events, Activities, Food & Beverage, and Accommodations

Ideal Candidates:

• Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf is an asset.
• Experience with POS and Tee Sheet Management Systems is an asset.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in person and over the phone.
• Decision-making, conflict resolution, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to react and handle multiple demands.
• Valid Driver’s License
