Société francophone de Maillardville is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator for the 34th edition of Festival du Bois in March 2023. This position is an opportunity to work in a creative environment and will provide excellent volunteer management and leadership experience while developing skills in communications, project administration, and creative problem-solving. The person will be responsible for recruiting and managing over 120 volunteers. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director and the Executive Director.

Every year, Coquitlam/Maillardville, the cradle of francophones in British Columbia, welcomes young and old to a celebration of traditional and world music, all with a French twist! For the past 33 years, Festival du Bois, the largest francophone festival on the west coast, has delivered great performances from Canada and beyond, while also sharing the community's Joie de vivre. This event is produced by Société francophone de Maillardville, whose mandate is to promote and facilitate access to arts and culture in French, in Maillardville/Coquitlam and the region.
