BSAFE Communications Toolkit
BSAFE, which stands for BC Safety Assured For Everyone, is a training tool that has emerged directly from the recommendations of the Tourism Task Force’s final report that was presented to the Government of BC in December 2020. BSAFE is designed for both front-line staff and managers/supervisors, and can be completed in around 90 minutes. The curriculum is entirely self-guided, and upon successful completion a certificate will be awarded to participants.
BSAFE is set to officially launch on May 15, 2021. We are asking our partners, including your organization, to help raise awareness of BSAFE in support of this launch. To that effect, we have included a Communications Toolkit and sample images with this email.
The Communications Toolkit contains additional information about BSAFE and our communications strategy, as well as the specific approach and sample posts for the associated social media campaign (as well as newsletters and e-blasts). We would be grateful for any support that you can provide, and hope that you will be able to publish two social media posts throughout the month of May promoting BSAFE to your network. The attached zip file contains sample images that can be used in conjunction with the posts included in the toolkit. Please use the images from the zip file, rather than attempting to copy images directly from the toolkit itself.
If you have any questions regarding BSAFE or the social media campaign, please do not hesitate to contact Communications Manager Judy Frankel jfrankel@go2hr.ca or connect with us at training@go2hr.ca.
